Role Overview and Main Functions
- Oversee the development and execution of HR strategies that align with regional and global business objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert HR guidance and solutions to senior management and local leadership teams.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the HR team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services and support.
- Drive initiatives in areas such as talent development, performance management, and organisational design.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, while advocating for ethical HR practices.
- Analyse HR metrics to inform strategic decisions and promote data-driven HR management.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure consistency in policies and practices across regions.
Key Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Proven experience in multi-regional HR management and understanding of diverse cultural environments.
- Strong people management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR professionals.
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and successful implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in HR software and data analysis tools.
Preferred Skills and Attributes
- Experience within the technology sector or similar high-growth industries is a plus.
- Innovative problem-solver with strategic thinking abilities.
- Adaptability to navigate complex and rapidly changing environments.
