Quality Control Specialist
We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our partner company!
Our partner operates in the on-demand manufacturing ecosystem, delivering technology-driven manufacturing solutions to a diverse global customer base across multiple industries.
In this role, you will support quality assurance processes across machining and industrial manufacturing operations, ensuring that all products and processes meet defined quality standards throughout the order lifecycle. You will work closely with production partners, internal stakeholders, and suppliers to maintain traceability, support continuous improvement, and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform quality control activities for machining and industrial manufacturing processes.
Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, comparators, and to be familiar with the principals of CMM.
Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections and support related quality activities.
Review inspection and measurement reports received from production partners.
Report supplier non-conformities and follow up corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare quality control reports and share findings with relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate quality processes from order placement through delivery and post-delivery stages.
Provide solution-oriented recommendations to eliminate non-conformities.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and fundamental quality management principles.
Maintain complete traceability and archive all quality records including reports, visuals, and documentation.
Monitor calibration status of measurement equipment.
Support ERP-based quality processes and reporting.
Participate in supplier visits and on-site audits when required.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in machining or industrial manufacturing environments.
Preferably a graduate of vocational schools or associate degree programs in Mechanical, CNC, Machining, Machine Design, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Hands-on experience with measurement and inspection tools.
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
Ability to adapt to an agile and fast-paced working environment.
Experience with ERP systems and MS Office tools such as Word and Excel.
Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible working style.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Availability to work full-time in Istanbul and travel domestically for supplier visits.
Valid driving license and active driving experience.
Minimum A2 level English is mandatory.
