Senior Finance Specialist
We are looking for a Senior Finance Specialist to join our partner's team!
Our partner is a well-established and steadily growing company operating in the livestock feed industry, providing cattle and small ruminant feed production, raw material procurement, and field consultancy services. Backed by a strong financial foundation and a sustainable growth strategy, the company continues to expand its market presence while delivering high-quality products and services to its customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health, compliance, and long-term growth objectives. You will support financial planning and analysis activities, oversee budgeting and cost accounting processes, manage tax and regulatory compliance, and drive accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, optimizing financial performance, and developing the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with business objectives, supporting growth initiatives and investment decisions through financial analysis and business case evaluations
Drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes, providing variance analysis and actionable recommendations to senior management
Oversee cash flow, liquidity, financing activities, banking relationships, and working capital management to ensure the company’s financial stability
Support cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes, including standard costing, cost analysis, profitability assessments, and pricing support
Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, KPIs, and financial analyses
Oversee accounting, tax, and statutory compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while identifying tax optimization and incentive opportunities
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal control, risk management, and corporate governance frameworks
Lead relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and compliance with reporting requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
6-8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or Financial Advisory roles
CPA, CMA, ACCA, IFRS Certification, or equivalent professional qualifications are highly preferred; active CPA (SMMM) or Sworn CPA (YMM) certification is a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Turkish Accounting Standards (TMS), Tax Procedures Law (VUK), and regulatory compliance requirements
Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, food production, or FMCG industries, with a strong understanding of cost accounting and financial operations
Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsis, Logo, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights
Professional working proficiency in English
