Financial Control Senior Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Financial Control Senior Specialist to join our partner's Controlling Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing controlling processes, providing actionable financial insights to support business decisions, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This role requires a proactive professional who takes ownership, challenges existing practices, identifies improvement opportunities, and serves as a strong business partner to operational teams. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with a forward-thinking mindset and demonstrate the potential to assume broader responsibilities within our partner's Controlling organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end Month-End Closing process, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
Own SAP-based closing activities and drive continuous process improvements.
Lead standard cost calculations and product costing processes.
Support the development and execution of the Business Plan, Budget, Forecast, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare variance analyses and provide strategic, data-driven financial insights to management.
Analyze manufacturing costs, profitability drivers, and operational performance metrics.
Enhance controlling processes, reporting structures, and analytical tools for greater efficiency.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation, digitalization, and workflow optimization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operational units as a strategic finance business partner.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive experience in financial controlling, cost controlling, or management accounting within a manufacturing environment.
Strong expertise in cost accounting, product costing, standard costing methods, and profitability analysis.
Advanced proficiency in SAP FI/CO with a track record of enhancing ERP-based controlling processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP CO modules—specifically Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), Material Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, and Internal Orders—is highly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Familiarity with Power BI, data analytics, automation tools, or AI-driven analytical solutions is a strong plus.
Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
